We were honored to be invited to perform for couples at the On The Marc at Inn at Longshore’s winter vendors event. It is a time when their featured vendors have the opportunity to showcase their wonderful products to couples that have already “Said Yes” to Inn at Longshore and are looking for other great companies to help them create their most special day!  So I thought this would be the perfect time to really step up and make our presence and image of beautiful music, refined image, and exceptional service to the Inn at Longshore.

It is a rare opportunity for brides and grooms to see us live in action. We have YouTube videos that can help couples imagine what their ceremony or cocktail hour might be like with a String Trio vs. String Quartet or what new musical arrangements we just discovered but other than that it is a rare opportunity to see, taste, and hear us in person! We even had a bride that already had booked us come up to us and be a little star struck! It was wonderful to connect with our new bride Jenn and get to show her what she was going to hear and see when she was walking down the aisle. Our set included the classical hits, including Cannon in D by Pachabel, Air on a G string by J.S. Bach, as well as Pop hits including Madonna, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, and Jason Marsz.

We love playing music that really gets people excited about their big day as well as confident that we offer the finest music in the area along with a unique look in partnership with Rent The Runway of NYC. Rent the Runway www.renttherunway.com  is a 20 billion dollar a year company that rents gowns, clothes, and accessories for special events or just every day. I thought this would be an amazing opportunity to try it out on both ends: for us as a possible partnership, providing designer looks at each event, and to see if brides would be interested in having their friends and families use the service as well. After agonizing for days we finally picked out 2 beautiful gowns by Mischa Badgley. They were lipstick red, perfect for Valentine’s Day that was just around the corner. The gowns arrived on time (despite the crazy blizzard the day before!) and I was easily able to drop them off at a UPS store that next day ensuring my promised delivery time. The gowns themselves to wear made me feel like a princess! Perfect fit, brand new, and of exceptional quality! We even had the chance to get a few pictures snapped by our new friend at Steve Walter Photography. He was exceptionally sweet, accommodating, and crazy talented!! (Pictures below!) And we have to say “Thank YOU!” to Laina Mills at Inn at Longshore for asking us again to put on a beautiful night of music! It was a night we won’t soon forget!  Want this String Quartet for your wedding?
